Study Mix
Hello blog readers! I think that it is safe to say that I've failed at being a blogger. Thank goodness for the random success of the melted crayons art on Pinterest or the internet might forbid me from hanging on to this space which is being so carelessly ignored. Graduate School is much more time consuming than I imagined and sadly every spare moment is spent studying or shooting images that will never see your computer screens because there isn't enough time to post them. Le sigh.
I am currently sitting at my computer working on a paper and trying to suppress this horrible blog guilt that I'm experiencing. "Jenna, you gotta give them somethin'.... just give 'em what you got" and what I "got" is a playlist. I hope that all of you are out enjoying this beautiful weather but if you, like me, are stuck inside... this is for you.

Ali & Kyle | Vendue Inn + McCradys Wedding
I don't know how to even begin telling you how much we LOOOOVED photographing Ali and Kyle's beautiful Charleston, SC wedding! This couple is definitely one of our all time favorites! Not only are these two gorgeous (and so easy to photograph) but they are both so sweet. I had a hard time narrowing down the photos for this post so look out for the second set tomorrow. We wish Ali and Kyle all of the best in marriage and in life! Back tomorrow with more! Love. Jb

Melted Crayons take Youtube
I received an email a couple of weeks ago about my melted crayon post being used for a Youtube video. I just finished watching the video and it's actually pretty cool! The first part of the video is introductions and...stuff... but the second half shows their melted crayon process. Check it out and be sure to leave TheAustrianLobsters lots of love!

Working on photo edits tonight and just scanned a couple of negatives from Kalea's visit last month. I miss having this little girl around the house. Hope everyone had a nice Monday! Jb

Pottery Class
Y'all! I'm taking a pottery class at the Sumter Gallery of Art and it is literally the most exciting thing I've done since I moved back to Sumter. I've only been to class one time but I already made a bowl and a coffee cup without a handle! Last semester (of graduate school) wasn't extremely difficult BUT I didn't really have anything that I was doing for fun ...outside of those hundreds of pages of weekly reading. Hah! So, I decided that this semester I was going to take an art class at least once a week and start going back to yoga. So far, the art part of my resolution is going very well. Here's a look at what I've made so far and I look forward to posting pics of tons more stuff in the upcoming weeks! YAY!
Aren't they so beautiful!?!??! I'm so glad that we found the Sumter Gallery! I'm starting to feel a little bit more optimistic about living in Sumter.
